on how to find us.

Directions
from London via the M2/A2
- Follow the M2
towards Dover, until reaching the
turnoff for the A2 (Canterbury).
- At the roundabout
at the end of the sliproad, take the
right exit onto the A2.
- Follow the A2
until reaching Whitfield
- At the Whitfield
Roundabout, take the second exit on
the left and continue on towards
Dover Docks.
- At the next
roundabout, take the first exit on
the left. This is the A258 to Deal.
Please now follow from
the A258 instructions below.
Directions
from London via the M20/A20
- Stay on the M20,
passing Folkestone and heading
towards Dover on the A20.
- At the end of the
A20 you will arrive at several
roundabouts. Cross directly over the
first four you encounter (You will also encounter
several sets of traffic lights) heading
towards Dover Eastern Docks (ferry
terminal).
- At the roundabout
directly outside the Port of Dover,
take a right exit onto the Jubilee
Way (flyover).
- At the top of the
Jubilee Way, take the right hand exit
of the roundabout onto the A258 for
Deal.

From the
A258
- Stay on this road.
There are two active speed cameras on
this road. You will pass through the
small village of Ringwould.
!!
Take care in this area as police regularly
set up speed traps !!
- The next village
is Walmer, which is on the outskirts
of Deal.
- Continue straight
on. You will pass a Texaco garage on
your left.
- Continue straight
on. Eventually the road will veer
round to the left with the Walmer
green and bandstand on your right.
This is The Strand. Continue onwards.
- About 1/4 of a
mile ahead, on the right, is Deal
Castle. Immediately after passing
this you see a large B&B on the
right hand side of the cross junction
ahead of you (Keep House).
- Take the turning
immediately after this B&B up
towards Deal Seafront (get into the
right hand lane after you pass the
B&B).
- Take a left at the
end of this road. You will reach a
small roundabout (and the pier on the
right hand side).
Wellingtons
Lodge is located above Wellington's Café on the
corner of this roundabout.
PARKING
Upon arrival at the
roundabout, take the left hand exit down into
the town. Immediately as you turn onto this
road, take the right hand turn into Middle
Street carpark. This is a pay-and-display
carpark, although it is free all day Sunday and Bank Holidays and after 5.30pm every evening. You have arrived.
VIA THE
RAILWAYS
- You should arrive
at Deal Station. Exit from the main station. To
the right there is an exit from the
carpark. There is a taxi office at
this exit if required, but
Wellingtons is about 1/2 mile further
along from here.
- When exiting the
carpark (right exit), stay on the left hand side
and cross the junction ahead of you
(passing the Hole-in-the-roof bar as
you go).
- Continue down this
road. You will pass a pedestrian
crossing on your right (on the High
Street). Continue up the road to the
end and the roundabout on Deals seafront.
- Turn left. Wellingtons
Café is directly in front of you and
Wellingtons Lodge is situated
directly above it.
